The Extension does not collect any personally identifiable information. All data you save (text selections) is stored exclusively on your own device using Chrome's storage.local API. No data is transmitted to any remote server.

2. Permission Usage

The Extension requests the following permissions, each explained below:

• contextMenus – Used to add a "Cache selected text" item to your right‑click menu, allowing you to quickly save text from any webpage.
• storage – Required to store your cached texts locally so that they persist after you close and reopen your browser.
• downloads – Used only when you click the "Export as File" button, to download a .txt file containing your saved texts.

3. Third‑Party Services

The Extension does not integrate any third‑party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. It works completely offline once installed.

4. Data Security & User Control

Because all data stays on your local machine, its security depends on the safety of your own device. You can delete any individual cached entry via the “Delete” button next to each item, or erase the entire cache with the “Clear All” button in the extension popup.

5. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the Extension implies acceptance of the latest version.
